Sensitivity of Non-target Arthropods and Beneficial Fungal Species to Chemical and Biological Plant Protection Products: Results of Laboratory and Semi-field Trials
نویسندگان
چکیده
Testing side-effects on beneficial organisms is increasingly important in the development of new pesticides and the reregistration of old active ingredients in Europe. This testing is partly done for regulatory assessment of potential risks to terrestrial, non-target arthropods, which are an important part of the environment, both in and out of crop fields. Tests are designed to determine the effects of pesticides on beneficial insects, mites or nematodes, used in Integrated Pest Management in horticulture. Direct acute toxicity is the most important parameter measured in such tests.

In this study, soil fungal isolated from Helianthemum ledifolium root and around of desert truffles were identified from ten different regions in Gonbad Kavoos in Golestan province. Desert truffles samples, were identified by morphological and molecular methods. Twenty one species of the fungal belonging to thirteen genera were isolated. Most of the fungal isolates were recovered from soil arou...
متن کاملIdentification of volatile organic compounds of some Trichoderma species using static headspace gas chromatography-mass spectrometry
Fungi release wide spectrum of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) that belong to several chemical groups with different biochemical origins such as monoterpenes, sesquiterpenes, alcohols, aldehydes, aromatic compounds, esters, furans, ketones, sulfur and nitrogen compounds. Trichoderma species are the most studied fungal biocontrol agents and are successfully used as biofungicides and biofertili...
متن کاملComputational Identification of Micro RNAs and Their Transcript Target(s) in Field Mustard (Brassica rapa L.)
Background: Micro RNAs (miRNAs) are a pivotal part of non-protein-coding endogenous small RNA molecules that regulate the genes involved in plant growth and development, and respond to biotic and abiotic environmental stresses posttranscriptionally. Objective: In the present study, we report the results of a systemic search for identifi cation of new miRNAs in B. rapa using homology-based ...

Opium poppy (Papaver somniferum) is one of the most important medicinal plants which can be cultured for use of the alkaloid morphine too. Plant poppy have been also associated with the most pests and diseases all over the world. One of the major disease is related to Fusarium oxyspoprumt which can also control plant cultivation in biggest producer of opium. However¸ the objec...
متن کاملIsolation, identification and biodiversity of endophytic fungi o Thymus
Endophytes are considered as an important source of bioactive natural products because thesemicroorganisms are able to occupy unique biological niches and grow in non-ordinaryenvironments. Therefore, endophytic fungi of medicinal plants can be developed for medicinalapplications. On the other hand, medicinal properties of plant can be ascribed to its endophyticfungi. Thymus sp. is widely used a...
